Kate Spade is always fun – fabulous design, cute dresses (love my wife in polka dots!), and other goodies.

Each month they feature a color and December is navy. To celebrate the color, the month, and to get a few more shares on Facebook, they put out the above video on their blog.

Oh, and for you folks who like polka dots, who can resist?

Yellow is an amazing color and we don’t get to use it very often. It’s friendly, fun, and just a little over the top, in a good sort of way.

If you’ve ever met me or heard me answer the phone, you won’t be surprised that I wanted to to make our website a big, friendly “hello!”

It’s About Time

When you’re busy, it’s hard to take time and work on your website. Our website has been a single page for about 5 years. It served us well enough, but this new website is overdue. After putting the project off for a year too many, I have to say it’s been a lot of fun to do.

We’ve done a lot of great work over the years, and as the company has grown, so has the breadth and depth of our work. Chuck Fultz joined me about 5 years ago and during that time the quality of our design has increased many times over. Andrew Anderson and Steve Meisner came on board 3 years ago; they have pushed our code and technical expertise far beyond my expectations. Most recently, Andrew Fultz joined us and he is helping me refine our workflow and increase quality.

I’m very proud of the four men I am so blessed to work with, and it gives me great pleasure to launch a website that we can all be proud of.
